Curating the Best of the Web for Endless Website Design Inspiration
Ready to dive into your website design? Or perhaps you’re in need of a refresh? Or maybe you’ve purchased a website template but don’t know where to start on how to make it your own? Explore this curated list of Bloem Creations’ fave resources and go-to corners of the internet for fresh website design inspiration.
Free Stock Photos

I always recommend investing in a professional branding photoshoot (Eugene photographer Among the Oaks is my personal local fave). I understand, however, that not everyone has the budget for it. That’s where quality stock photos come in incredibly handy. Below is a list of some of my fave sites for FREE stock photos for web design, instagram, pinterest, and more.
- Pexels a wide variety of photos for just about anything
- Unsplash is very similar to pexels
- Kaboompics is a great choice for those seeking editorial, luxe, and minimalist
- Dupephotos has become a fave for looking for photos that don’t scream “stock.”
Color Palette Inspo

Having a beautiful, cohesive, and fresh color palette is crucial to your website’s overall aesthetic and branding. Here are some of my fave places to find fresh color palette inspiration for a new website design or refresh.
- Canva (Free and pro version) has great templates and tools for extracting color palettes
- Coolors.co is great for finding fresh color palette inspo or pulling color from a photo you upload
- Pinterest No list would be complete with Pinterest for inspiration (for many things, including color palette) Explore my pinterest page to explore some of my current color palette inspo
- Khroma.co is wonderful for seeing how different color combos look together and next to other combos. I am not a huge fan of AI, but I gotta admit, I love that this color combo generator learns your preferences before it generates color combos for you.
Web Design Inspiration

I love drawing inspo from everywhere. Books, magazines, billboards and more. But these two sites are great for sparking fresh inspiration specifically from other website designs.
- Siteinspire showcases stunning website examples
- Savee.it is another great spot to browse diverse designs to get the creative juices flowing for designers
- You can always explore portfolios of existing web designers to get an idea of their work and what you do and don’t like. Feel free to browse mine, right here.
Fonts & Graphics

There’s nothing better than finding the perfect font. Jen Wagner is the GOAT in this realm, IMO. But you can find SO many gorgeous fonts and graphics elsewhere.
- Jenwagner.co has the most stunning fonts. Use my link and the code BLOEM15 for 15% off. Careful, they’re addictingly beautiful. You’ll want them all.
- Creative market has TONS of fonts and graphics at all different price ranges. They also offer weekly freebies for personal use!
- Typewolf is an incredible resource for finding font pairing inspiration. You can easily see how fonts look paired together and used for different types (e.g., headings vs. paragraphs). Typewolf offers free lists along with guides and other tools available for purchase.
- Showit has all Google Fonts available for free on their web design platform, so it’s a great place to look if you don’t want to invest in any fonts.
I hope you’ve found this resource helpful! Did I leave out a favorite? Let me know in the comments.
