I create Showit websites for small biz owners who are ready for more. Your website should reflect where your business is going - not stuck where it's been. Whether you've outgrown your DIY design or need a fresh professional presence, it's time to give your website the boost it deserves - and your future clients are waiting for.
and see how fellow entrepreneurs took their leap of faith and invested in websites that truly reflect their vision. Every project here represents a business owner who, like you, decided it was time to bet on themselves.
From service-based businesses to creative entrepreneurs, each featured project demonstrates how intentional design can bridge the gap between where you are and where you're ready to be.
Alex and I connected thanks to the IG algorithm - and man am I grateful. As a fierce and innovative wedding planner and venue owner, she had searched for an expo that broke the mold—and when she couldn't find it, she created it herself. The Crush Collective reimagines what a wedding expo can be. It celebrates inclusivity, innovation, and integrity and seeks to rewrite the wedding show rulebook. I am so proud to play a small part in it.
When it came to the website, Alex wanted a statement-making aesthetic that was both bold and beautiful. We went for a black-and-white foundation punctuated by unexpected wedding colors with a perfectly paired font duo by the one and only Jen Wagner. The copy was unique in that it needed speak to both potential vendors and expo attendees, and above all - it needed to absolutely establish the vibe.
The result? Well, take a look for yourself.
Arianna wanted a clean and minimalist website that invoked the warm, earthy and artistic vibes of her private studio salon in Eugene, OR. My Nebula website template served as the perfect base, providing an extensive homepage and a simple contact page to meet all of her needs. Her clean logo design and color palette were both inspired by shapes and colors present in her salon. The result? A simple, stunning, and strategic website that helps dream clients looking to boost their volume, length (and confidence) find Arianna's incredible talent.
I can't really recall how Heather fell on my Instagram feed - but boy was I happy when she did. Not only do I LOVE her photography style (she's to thank for my branding photos), but once we met up IRL at a local networking event - I knew she was without a doubt "my kind of gal." Not just bc she happens to also love corgis (and owns two of them) and will meet up with me for a glass of wine - but because she is such a freakin' cool human and gifted artist.
The problem? Her website wasn't doing her artistry any justice. It wasn't bad (although a good number of links weren't exactly doing their job). She'd already discovered how wonderful Showit is (yippee!) But it didn't showcase how diverse her abilities are. I don't know how she does it - but she can capture photos that make you feel like you're there - even when you don't know the people. Whether her subjects are tiny humans taking clumsy steps, love birds celebrating their engagement or big day, or biz owners doing their thing, Heather has a way of capturing all of it in a way that feels fun, and fresh, and best of all - real.
My job? To try and show that off.
This beautiful human happens to be one of the most insanely talented people I've ever met. But her website? Wasn't exactly showing off her amazing skills. Like many of my clients, Kelsey started with a site on Squarespace she had created from a website template - and after a few years, she found herself ready for an upgrade.
We took my Studio Luz Template and transformed it into a fresh website that represented Kelsey's cosmetic tattoo and lash business. Her new site features updated copy and a fresh color palette that softens up her logo a bit. It also includes a new FAQ page, easily integrated booking, and a much needed personalized about page to showcase the incredible human that I am so grateful to call my client, friend, and lash and brow guru.
DelJean and I connected at a local networking event for professionals in the wedding industry and I can truly say it felt kismet. She overheard me chatting about how many of my clients find themselves stuck with a website they launched ages ago, have outgrown, but never totally mastered how to update it confidently. That was exactly how DelJean felt. Her weebly site was "fine" but it wasn't doing her talent any justice (or her google rankings). It was time to showcase her floral design portfolio - and her heart - with a beautiful and strategic website. With the goal of a quick turnaround - I found a stunning template by Superhero Design Co. and transformed it into the upgrade DelJean's floral biz had been ready for.
I pulled colors from her existing logo to maintain a cohesive feeling with what her community and existing clients already recognized as her brand. As a flower lover - putting together her galleries was literally a dream. In about six weeks we had revamped her copy, launched her new site, and covered all the SEO bases to help clients searching for romantic, whimsical and stunning flowers find DelJean's work.
